So, so, so fun!

Thanks to Jeff and Dianna for tonight's fun. We all had a great time talking and laughing, as usual. The topic of building your own casket and buying a hurst was a hoot! Thanks to everyone who came.

The Mabey families are planning to provide the dessert, drinks, and paper products for our gathering. Could we get somewhat of a count of those planning to attend? This will sure help them to be able to have enough.

Our August gathering is going to be a blast! It is Friday the 20th @ 6:00 pm. Jeff Mabey has been nice enough to arrange for us to be able to use his ward's facilities. They have a pavilion, some bar-b-q's, horse shoes and lots of lawn. So bring your fun lawn games. The address is 949 E. 10600 S. Also bring your own meat and a side dish to share. Bring folding chairs or a blanket and be ready for a fun evening. We had such a great time at the Siewert's in July; they were so nice to host it. Thanks to all you guys who have helped out with these get togethers!

July get together

It is time for another fun family activity. This month we are going to have a bar-b-q at Chris and Jamie Siewert's house. The address is 9253 S. Brighton View Drive (610 E.) Meet at 4:30 pm. Bring your own drinks and a side dish to share. Bring any extra folding chairs you may have. If you have a fun game- bring it too. Jamie will provide the burgers and hot dogs and a lovely desert. What a wonderful day we had at Wheeler Farm. It was so nice to see our family again. I hope everyone is ok with the casual-ness of our get togethers. If you guys want more activities at them. please go ahead and plan them. My goal thus far has just been to provide opportunities to visit and get to know each other better. I am happy for any other points of view.

We have had another family ordeal come up this month, and it will require us to cancel this month's activity... again. Please pray we are done with these trials. Our hearts go out to all the loved ones in our family who are suffering.

Did you all have fun? Super huge thank you to Tom for getting us the perfect set up at his ward. The snacks were wonderful from the carmel brownies to the lil smokies and everything in between. Remember to start getting your plans together for next month. Julie will be getting our reservations made for dinner. She will be giving out that info here at our blog. Please make sure you pass this address around to all your family members. There has been interest in getting a group together for a buffet run out to Wendover.
