FAMILY TEMPLE NIGHT

LUANN AND I HAD SET UP THE NEXT FAMILY TEMPLE DAY AS DEC 6TH, BUT THE JORDAN RIVER TEMPLE WILL BE CLOSED THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF DECEMBER THIS YEAR SO NEITHER OF THE FIRST TWO SATURDAYS WILL WORK.


SINCE PAUL & ANNA'S CHRISTMAS PARTY WILL BE DEC 20TH, THE TWO OF US THOUGHT IT MIGHT JUST BE GOOD TO WAIT UNTIL JANUARY.


SEVERAL MONTHS AGO DEE AND I CONSULTED WITH OUR CHILDREN AND SET UP AN ON-GOING TEMPLE SCHEDULE. WE WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND AN INVITATION TO ALL OF YOU TO JOIN US ON THESE EVENINGS.

IT IS AS FOLLOWS: THE FIRST FRIDAY NIGHT OF EACH ODD MONTH WE WILL MEET AT THE JORDAN RIVER TEMPLE FOR THE 6:00 PM SESSION.

DURING THE 2009 YEAR THE DATES ARE:

JAN 2ND MAR 6TH MAY 1ST

JULY 3RD SEPT 4TH NOV 6TH

DEE AND I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN ANY OF YOU AT OTHER TIMES AS WELL, DEPENDING ON OUR SCHEDULE.

SOOOO Real  made it to the western finals and they will be having a home game this saturday. I was thinking since the Jazz are out of town on saturday, lets switch our family get together to the Real game! Miguel can get tickets for 20.00 each. Call me at 268-6904 and let me know how many tickets you need by Tuesday Nov. 10

The Wendover Buffet has been changed to Friday night. Friday is the seafood buffet.

From I-215 take 2100 South westbound (Route 201) to the 5600 West exit, range entrance is just north of the exit ramp. Click on the name of the range and it will take you to their website. I KEEP CHECKING THIS BLOG AND HAVEN'T SEEN ANYONE LATELY.

DEE AND I WERE VERY HAPPY TO JOIN LUANN AT THE JORDAN RIVER TEMPLE LAST SATURDAY MORNING. IT WAS GREAT TO BE THERE WITH HER. WE ARE ALL HOPING THAT THERE WILL BE MORE OF US NEXT TIME. THE DATE WILL BE DECEMBER 6TH.

I JUST READ (again) ABOUT YOUR 24TH OF JULY WEEKEND PARTY AND REALIZED AGAIN HOW MUCH I MISS BEING WITH YOU ALL.

I AM ENCLUDING A COUPLE OF PHOTOS OF TOM COMPETEING IN HIS IDAHO EVENT THAT TOOK PLACE ON THAT SAME WEEKEND.

TOM IS WEARING HIS FAVORITE GRAY T-SHIRT AND RED SHORTS.

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO JOINING YOU UP AT PARK CITY THIS NEXT SATURDAY.

The 24th Weekend

The 24th celebration was the usual- fun, FOOD, and family. Here is my version of what happened. It would be great if others with pictures would post their take on it. 

We hung out after dinner. 

We had an auction. 

 

We got to know the latest additions to the family. Tylor is holding his niece, Lily.

Hmmmm... maybe a little too much testosterone for one 4-wheeler??

Your Invited to Grandpa's Birthday Bash

When: Saturday, July 26th & Sunday, July 27th 

Where: Grandpa's cabin

Weekend Agenda

Friday Evening: 

• Kamas non-PRCA rodeo 8:00 pm. Tickets are $6.00 kids under 10 are FREE! Our family sits on the north side of the arena by the bull pens.
  

Saturday:

• Kids Parade 10:00 am @ Kamas Main Street.
• Family Art Contest 12:00 pm @ cabin. Art supplies will be provided (but feel free to bring your own). Grandpa will be judging the art in two categories- kids and adults. 
• BBQ 2:00 pm @ cabin. Burgers, hotdogs, and corn of the cob provided by Hank and Diane. 

- Bring your own drinks and pot luck dish to share.

- Bring your own chairs.

- Brothers and sisters RSVP to Diane with an approximate count by Saturday, July 19th. (KIDS- if brothers and sisters aren't computer/internet literate, please help them!)

• Auction following dinner. Everyone (little ones too) bring something to auction off. Be creative!

Sunday:

• Church 9:00 am @ where state road 35 meets the Lower River Road.
• Rummy Tournament 11:00 am @ cabin.  Entry fee is $5.00 per person. Winner takes all and receives the fabulous family trophy. Defending Champion is David Martinez.
• River Fun in the afternoon. Bring tennis shoes and be prepared to get wet!
